COMPANY PROFILE Sound Listening Environments Inc. (SLE) was founded in 1997 to provide new solutions for noise control. Research has repeatedly linked problems with reading, spelling, behaviour, attention and academic success to ambient noise in classrooms. Chair noise, just 15 decibels less than a jackhammer or motorcycle, has been a long-standing problem in schools. SLE's introductory product, Hushh-ups®, solves this problem.
